The Mystery of Prayer. Six Reasons Why All Believers Must Pray

The Mystery of Prayer.

Here are six reasons why all believers must pray.

  1. God commanded that we pray. Luke 18:1. Jesus when He was with his disciples here on earth spoke a parable to them that Men ought always to pray and not to faint. Prayer is not a choice for a believer, it is an instruction and command that we must obey if we are going to survive the fiery darts of the enemy.
  2. Prayer is one of the strategies for intimate fellowship with God and fellowship with Heaven. 1Corinthians 14:2. When you pray in the spirit, you commune with divinity and access heavenly treasures. Your fellowship in the spirit puts the devil and his agents into confusion.
  3. Prayer is one of the authorized platforms for growth and for transformation. 1 Corinthians 14:4. Prayer helps a believer build capacity and stature. When you pray, you edify yourself and growth in the spirit become inevitable.

Most of the breakthroughs that we need are as a result of the ignorance of the principles of the kingdom. Remember the bible tells us to pray for the Kingdom to come.

When the kingdom comes there are may things you would not ask for because of the presence of the Kingdom. Most of the miracles we ask for and receive sometimes are acts of God’s mercy trying to correct our ignorance.

So if you understand the kingdom and the ways of God, your prayers will be largely that of fellowship and growth and not just petitions. Because the accuracy of your understanding will bring triumph after triumph, result after results in your life.

4. Prayer is an instrument of Warfare and Intercession. Prayer is our powerful advantage for warfare against Satan and his agents. Demons are real, spirits are real, wickedness is real.

The devil is determined as ever to see that he disconnects us from our ordination. The scriptures tells us to be watchful and vigilant always because our adversary the devil is going about like  a lion looking for who to destroy. 1Peter 5:8

5. Prayer is a strategy for Living faith. As you pray, your faith is activated and alive.

6. Prayer is a platform to make requests. Mark 11:23-24. It is on the platform of prayer that we are equipped to receive whatsoever we have asked.

Philippians 4:6, Don’t assume God knows it, make all your requests known to God.

Conclusion:

How Do You Know That God has Answered Your Prayer?

Philippians 4:7. If you have made your request known to God the Scripture says the peace of God which passeth all understanding will keep your hearts and minds (build a defense system around you) through Christ Jesus.
