Jesus Christ Is The Only Way: Only Way To Heaven

jesus the only way to heaven

Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. He came down from Heaven to show us the way. He is the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the whole world. On the Cross, our salvation is complete. If you believe in Him, your salvation is complete. He is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6) The way to Heaven is only through Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ alone.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is Himself the way to Heaven. He does not merely show the way; He is the way. Salvation is only in the person of Jesus Christ. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you have salvation.

Various people have analyzed Christianity and believers in Jesus Christ as being too narrow-minded because we preach that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and salvation. They point to other religions of the world and say, “How can your way be the only way?”

One of the answers to this question is that Jesus Christ himself declared that He was, in fact, God in the flesh.

I and the Father are one. (John 10:30, NASB)

Anyone who has me has seen the father (John 14:9b)

Jesus did not offer Christians any choice but to preach that it is only through faith in his sacrificial death on Calvary that we can obtain redemption from our iniquities.

Jesus claimed to be God. We have to judge his statements about himself as either true or false.

Is Jesus The Only Way To Heaven?

It’s Not About Me

Some people believe that all the religions in the world are basically the same. But that simply is not true. Christians, Jews, and Muslims trust in a peculiar God who has shown himself to men. Buddhists and Hindus believe God is impersonal and unknowable. But God cannot be both personal and impersonal — both concepts cannot be correct.

But Christianity is also different from all other religions of the world in one other vitally important concept — the idea that God reached out to man to save him because man was helpless to save himself.

Every other religion in the world is based on man’s efforts to reach God. These world religions educates that man must in some way do honorable performances or accomplish spiritual service in order to become worthy enough for salvation. In order to be saved a person must pray a certain number of times, in a certain manner, facing a certain direction. Or he must wear a particular type of religious garment. Or he must visit a certain religious shrine or temple. Or he must worship in a particular way.

Some religions need sacrifice and even the infliction of agony upon a believer in order to become holy in the sight of God. Some extreme religions require adherents to beat themselves with rods or sticks to show their dedication to God. Some require travellers to crawl on their knees a certain distance in prayer in order to receive righteous points with God. Some religions necessitate worship on Friday; others on Saturday; and others on Sunday.

But in all of this, the determination after righteousness is based on the religious action of the man or woman. In other religious system aside Christianity, a divine gauge dangles over the head of a person with all of the atrocities they have done on one side and all of their virtuous acts on the other. The person never knows whether they have been good enough, or prayed enough, or worked hard enough to earn the righteous points needed to counter their earned sins.

But the Christian Bible explains that man is a sinner and could never get salvation by what he or she did.

The Scriptures say, “None is righteous, just, truthful, upright no not one (Rom. 3:10)

For all have sinned and have fallen short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives. (Rom. 3:23)

We are all like one who is unclean and all our righteousness is like filthy rag (Is. 64:6a,)

The apostle Paul made it obvious that redemption is obtainable through the ransom that Jesus Christ made when he took the sins of the world on the cross.

For God created Christ, who didn’t commit sin, to be the offering for our iniquity, so that we can be completely right with God through Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21, NLT)

Jesus never sinned. He was the only one who could pay the ransom and carry the iniquities of everyone who ever lived upon himself on the cross. He was the sacrificial lamb who took upon himself the iniquity of the people.

This redemption originates only through the love of God to man, and we can only obtain it by faith not by any act that we can ever do.

For it is by grace you have are delivered though faith, not of yourselves but it is the gift of God. Not because of works, lest anyone should pride himself or take Glory to himself. (Eph. 2:8-9, NKJV)

No matter how moral you are; no matter how spiritual you are; no matter what you do for God, you can never be worthy enough, or sacred enough to obtain salvation.

Any plan of salvation that is based on the efforts of man is doomed to failure. The Bible says that redemption has been made accessible to us because Jesus came to earth and carried our sins on the cross.

For God seriously loved the world that he offered us his only begotten Son, so that whoever has faith in him will not die but have eternal life. (John 3:16, NKJV)

All we have to do is to trust and accept what Jesus did to bring redemption to us. God has offered us the grace to obtain redemption; all we have to do is open the door by faith.

Receiving The Free Gift

Death: How Your Existence On Earth Is Very Limited/Short

Your Existence On Earth Is Very Limited/Short

Death remains the great equalizer no matter whom you are, how fresh or old, what measure of success you’ve attained, or where you live. On this post, we will study death: how your existence on earth is very limited/short.

With each tick of the clock, an instant of your life is behind you your days are numbered, and each one that goes is gone forever. Jesus knew his time was limited on earth so, he lived by these four (4) principles

Death: How Your Existence On Earth Is Very Limited/Short

He Lived Passionately

We refer to the end of his life as the passion of Christ. He existed completely for His Father and to create a variance in the world, Jesus was the most passionate person who ever lived, and he wants us to dwell with the same passion.

In John 10:10 He says, I have come in order that you might have life, life in all its fullness  he wants us to live a life that’s filled with the things He has for us.

He Loved Totally

John 13:1 says, Jesus knew that the time had come for him to depart this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full degree of his love. Jesus totally loved the people He was closest to.

He concentrated on the relationship that was of importance, his disciples. In the same way, we can love totally by concentrating with high passion on those associations that are valuable in our lives.

He learned modestly

The third principle is to learn modestly, and Jesus is the utmost example of humility. Philippians 2:8 says, He humbled himself and became submissive to death. Jesus was God Himself, and yet he brought down himself, covered himself in human form and became one of us so we could encounter God.

He left confidently

The fourth universal principle is to leave confidently, and again Jesus is our greatest example as he left an everlasting legacy here on earth and left confidently to be with his father.

He was prepared to go. Luke 9:51 says, as the time came forth for his return to heaven, Jesus purposefully went to Jerusalem. Jesus went to the cross confidently. He was firm in going to the cross because of His love for us. We can leave a confident legacy on earth as well and devote our time on something that will sustain us.

One of the obscurities of life is that neither of us is aware of when we’re going to die. But it’s certain that we will die. Sighting his days are short/limited & the numbers of his months are with thee, thou hast designated the limits that he will not exceed (Job 14:5).If we’re ready to receive this and have faith in God with the end point of our time on this earth, then we can concentrate on how we fill in that gap between the year we were given birth to and the year we will die.

We can make our race an unbelievable journey of innovation, happiness, and determined satisfaction.

What The Bible Declares Concerning Sickness and Healing

what the bible declares concerning sickness and healing.

God is concerned about our spiritual and physical life. He formed the human body, and he is happy when we enjoy health and strength. But in this world our bodies withstand sickness, hurt, and decay. On this post, we will reveal what the bible declares concerning sickness and healing.

What The Bible Declares Concerning Sickness and Healing

Sometimes we misuse our own bodies, but frequently our sicknesses occur because well, we don’t always know why, nor does God promise that we will understand why.

Healing happens at times dramatically, just like the work of Jesus and his disciples. The gospels overflow with stories of Jesus healing every type of body sickness & so did his disciples, whom he assured that they could perform the same work that he did.

God still works to restore people in ways that disregard medical understanding. It is certainly not wrong to pray for healing, either for ourselves or others. The Bible says we should pray for whatsoever we want, and that assuredly comprises liberty from pain.

Healing does not constantly happen, even to the utmost affectionate, God concentrated people. But the Bible does assure us that if we are not healed in this life, there is something better awaiting us later.

O lord, you alone can heal me, you alone can protect. My admirations are for you only. Jeremiah 17:14

I will restore back your health and heal your injuries, declares the lord. Jeremiah 30:17

Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians talks about spiritual gifts, one of which is healing. It is visible that the gift of healing did not end with Jesus and his disciples.

There are numerous means God works in our lives, and it is the same God who does the work through all of us. God reveals the Spirit through every individual for the benefit of the entire church.

To a person the Spirit gives a word of exceptional wisdom; to another he offers the gift of distinct understanding. The Spirit gives extraordinary faith to another, and to someone else he offers the authority to heal the sick.

He gives another the mandate to accomplish miracles, and to another the skill to prophesy. He gives another else the skill to differentiate between spirits. And to another, he gave the ability to talk in various types of tongues,

To another he bestowed the talent to interpret what is being said. It is the same a Holy Spirit who allocates these gifts and he alone selects which talent a person should acquire.

Now all of you collectively are Christ’s body, and every one of you is a distinct and essential part of it. Below are some of the followers that God has positioned in the body of Christ:

  • First are Apostles,
  • second are prophets,
  • third are Teachers,
  • people who perform miracles,
  • people who have the ability healing,
  • individuals who can assist others
  • individuals who can get others to work collectively,
  • People who speak in various types of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:6-10; 1 of Corinthians 12:27-28

In one of Paul’s letters he spoke concerning “thorn in the flesh,” some type of body sickness. Paul was surely a man of faith, yet he was not healed of it. He wasn’t told why. But Paul did the clear thing in the situation. He acknowledged it.

Hence I am aware it is all for Christ’s good, I am quite satisfied with my flaws and with abuses, sufferings, tortures, and disasters. For when I am frail, then I am resilient. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

Each person who has ever been made whole has died including Lazarus, the friend Jesus resurrected from the dead, died again. The Bible made no undertaking that our current forms, whatsoever their disorder, will remain strong and dwell forever.

The Bible assured us something much more magnificent, a new body, like our present ones but also diverse, a body made for infinity.

We are aware that when this earthly tent we dwell in is taken down , when we decease and abandon these bodies  we will have a home in heaven, an everlasting body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.

We grow tired in our current bodies, and we long for the day when we will put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we cannot be spirits lacking forms, but we will put on different heavenly forms.

Our fading form makes us growl and lament, it’s not that we want to die and have no form entirely. We want to slide into our new bodies so that these fading bodies will be absorbed by everlasting life. 2 Corinthians 5:1-4

Even though our bodies are dead, our spirits are being renewed daily. 2 Corinthians 4:16

Secrets To Unleashing God’s Miracle Power In Your Life

five secrets to unleashing God's miracle power in your life.

God’s power is so much stronger than we can imagine. You need more strength, more energy, and more authority in your life.  Study this post to discover the secrets to unleashing God’s miracle power in your life.

Secrets To Unleashing God’s Miracle Power In Your Life

  1. Have faith in God

To understand that in God all things are possible. In God, there is no sorrow, no grief, no downfall, and no poverty.

  1. Know that God has absolute power over everything in this world over evil spirit, angels, situations, and the entire carnal world (see John 14:12).

When you stand in His presence, you are standing in the presence of the One who can fix anything. All He needs to do is declare the word.

  1. Study God’s Word At Any Particular Moment (see Romans 12:1-2, I John 5:14-15).

God, what are you doing in this condition? What do you intend doing? As you communicate and spend time with him, you will realize what his purpose is (see Psalm 85:8, Hebrews 12:25).

Then agree with it. The Bible stated that Abraham trusted God, “And it was accounted to him for virtue” (James 2:23). He assented to the word that was spoken by God.

That is what we must do: consent with whatsoever He wants to bring forth. Abraham agreed with God when God told him he was going to have a son, even though he and his wife were well past childbearing age. Rather than disbelieving or developing frail in confidence, the Bible declared he “was braced in confidence, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20).

  1. Ignore Your Own Incapability. (See Psalm 84:11)

Don’t consider that the whole world is against you. Don’t consider that the task being assigned to you seems impossible. Don’t reflect only about your own incapability, or your previous disappointments; instead rise boldly in faith, offering praises to God.

  1. Be Fully Convinced

The Bible told us that Abraham (was) completely convinced that what He had pledged He was also able to achieve” (Romans 4:21). Abraham was completely convinced. In his spirit, he not only assented to God but also became fully convinced that what God had said was going to happen. Being totally persuaded is what Jesus talked about when he said that if you believe, you will receive the thing that you say (see Mark 11:24).

There is something inside you that says, “It’s mine. It is mine. It is mine. Now I have it. There is no question about it. God has said it, and I believe it. I am fully persuaded. I am not considering the circumstances. I receive that now!”

Abraham began to live as if he were going to have a son. In time Isaac, “son of promise,” was born.

Such belief cannot come from mere human effort. It comes only from depending on God, for “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). It has to come from the Lord. The attempt to force yourself to believe will come to nothing. You must use the faith God has given you.

God’s assistance comes to you when you consider Him, when you discover his supremacy, when you praise Him, when you study His Word, when the Word is fastened in your heart, and when you have received His spoken word in your heart saying, “This is what I am going to do. Trust it!”
