How to Stay Young All Your Life. Psalm 92:12-15 (KJV)
Our culture is engrossed with youth. There are numerous products on the market that promise better health, fewer wrinkles, and more energy, but these only address the issue of aging in a superficial way; nothing changes the fact that our bodies age. Feeling old, on the other hand, is not unavoidable—with the right attitude, we can be young at heart regardless of our chronological age. We accomplish this by cultivating…
• A God-centered perspective. Keep your thoughts on things above rather than on things on earth (Col. 3:2). Consider each day an opportunity to put your faith in God more fully, to love Him more deeply, and to serve Him more joyfully.
• An Active Learning Pursuit Never stop learning from the Bible. So that you can continue to grow spiritually, long for the Word like a baby craves milk (1 Pet. 2:2).
• A positive outlook on life. Allow godly thinking to influence your attitudes. Be glad, thankful, and prayerful (1 Thess. 5:16-18).
• An orientation toward others. Don’t allow yourself to become absorbed in yourself. Rather, invest your life in others for their spiritual growth and encouragement (1 Thess. 5:11).
It all starts with your mind if you want to stay young while getting older. So never stop learning, laughing, and loving God wholeheartedly.
