Great Ways To Handle Negative Social Media Comments

Handling Negative Social Media Comments

The advent of technology has changed the way we perceived life.
As modern learning, the World Wide Web and AI slowly penetrate into the various aspects of our day-today living, businesses are also not spared from being impacted.
To adopt to the new ways and immense scope of this scheme, now eCommerce stores have emerged enabling door-step delivery and thus maximizing consumer convenience.
In the same way social media has now become the fastest medium for maximum outreach in case of almost all industries.

Social media is today the simplest and one of the most affordable ways to not just boost engagement with the current audience but also reach the potential leads.
But more often than not, the conversation turns negative with angry customers and complaints on these platforms.
Both the large and small businesses (with even minimum social media presence) have already experienced this and chances are high to go through this soon if you already haven’t confronted with such a situation yet.

How to handle this kind of Social Media negativity!

Negative social media comments can trigger a sense of embarrassment and frustration, but remember that it is how you respond and deal with it that your audience will remember.
Here are some ways to help you respond to negative comments.

• Respond as Soon as Possible–When an angry customer posts something on your social media page, it is evident that they want to be heard. The last thing they want at this point is being ignored. When you respond to adverse comments immediately it shows that you care about what they say.
You can alter their perspective about your business by addressing their concerns in a direct way.
A prompt response also shows your other audience that you acknowledge these problems and care about them.

It shows that you are willing to correct things if they have issues.
The opposite is conveyed when you ignore them. You will come across plenty of airline companies and ecommerce platforms to respond proactively to unhappy customers who have experienced delayed or cancelled flights or whose order did not reach them timely or in the perfect condition.

In the former case very little can be done, but addressing their concern actively can subdue the tension to a great extent.

• Don’t Delete the Comment – It can be quite tempting for you to get rid of the negative comments but you can end up creating an even bigger problem that way. The commenter is going to know that the comment has been deleted and this can create further problems.

The commenter can get tormented because of this and can continue to post negative comments on this specific platforms as well as other social media channels. What could have just been one complaint can now convert to multiple issues.
However, there is just one exception to this which can occur if the commenter uses illicit, profane or offensive language. In that case, the post is deleted and the user is blocked and removed from the platform.

• Try to Keep Your Cool – It is not common that an internet toll or an irate customer is looking for an emotional response to their post. So you must see to it that you do not take it personally or challenge it negatively.

Keep it in mind that this is being made in public and you are being judged by not just the poster but also your other followers. So act like you are dealing with an angry group of people. Therefore that end goal of yours should not always be about just being right.
If the comment is clearly an attack or is instigating, it is better to let go.

• Don’t Get Defensive – This is one of the biggest mistakes that you must avoid. Place in mind the fact –“Customer are right always!”.
By giving excuses you actually make an irate customer more irritated. So there is high probability that they will never return to do business with you. So as a response, you can apologize first for their bad experience and then tell them how you are planning to resolve it.

• Take the Conversation Offline – It is always suggested that you take the conversation offline or away from the public eyes as soon as possible. After addressing a negative comment you should not continue to converse on your page.
Instead encourage the user to change the conversation to a
more private place like use the direct message or private chat of the social media platform where the complaint was posted.

It’s always cool to utter something like “Really sorry to hear about your experience with our service/product. Can you kindly private message us regarding the details of your trouble and your contact info so that our customer care executives can reach you and we can deliver you with a solution at the earliest?”.
This will move the post away from prying eyes.

Some people are going to complain just for some attention. But when you move the conversation to a private setup this will keep them from drawing more negativity to your site.

What The Bible Has To Say Concerning Angels

Angels are God’s emissaries, unseen unless when they take on a shape to reveal themselves before human beings. We don’t know what they “look” like, except they appear as grand, awe-inspiring beings not the chubby, sweet-faced infants in old artworks. People in the Bible and Christians of later times — usually speak of angels as magnificent beings — impressive figures who inspire awe but also give comfort.

Angels appear in many places in the Bible, but the most familiar passages remind us that of their role as protectors and comforters of God’s people.

The angel of the Lord protects all who respect and worship with admiration, and each of them he delivers. Psalm 34:7

When you make the lord your hiding place, if you make the Most High your refuge, no harm will defeat you; no pandemic will come near your abode. For he instructs his angels to guard you anywhere you go. They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone. Psalm 91:9-12

The minister and his associates, who were Sadducees, responded with fierce jealousy. They detained the apostles and put them in the prison. But an angel of the Lord came at night, unlocked the gates of the prison, and brought them out. Acts 5:17-19

The same night Herod was to bring him out, Peter was asleep amongst two soldiers, clasped with double cuffs and protectors before the door were securing the prison. Unexpectedly, there was a bright light in the prison, and an angel of the Lord appeared before Peter.

The angel woke him up and said, immediately, rise up and the chains fell off his wrists. Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” And he did. Wrap your outer garment around you and follow me the angel ordered.

So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn’t realize it was really happening. They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the Iron Gate to the street, and this opened to them all by itself. When they had passed through the first and second guard, they approached an iron gate which leads into the city. On its own, the gates were unlocked and they went out and immediately, the angel departed.

And Peter realized himself and said; now i am sure that the lord has brought his angel to save me from the hand of Herod and everything the Jewish people were hoping would occur. Acts 12:6-11

Beware that you not despise or feel scornful towards, or think less of these little ones. For I say unto thee that in heaven, angels are permanently in the company of my Father.” Matthew 18:10

And I tell you, whoever proclaims openly and declares that he believes in me and accepts me in the presence of men, the son of man will also proclaim, declare and accept him in the presence of the angels of God. But if anyone denies me here on earth, I will deny that person before God’s angels.” Luke 12:8-9

“There is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.” Luke 15:10

Jesus and the apostle Paul promised that angels would play a key role in the Second Coming of the Lord. The angels are harvesters, gathering in the produce of God’s honest people. They are also messengers proclaiming Jesus magnificent coming on earth.

I the Son of Man will direct my angels, and they will eliminate from my Kingdom everything that causes iniquity and all who do evil, and they will throw them into the furnace and burn them. There will be lamentation and clenching of teeth. Then will the righteous shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their father. Anyone who is willing to hear should listen and understand!” Matthew 13:41-43

Then the sign of the son man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and lament in anguish, and they will see the son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great splendor

And he will direct his angels with the sound of a great trumpet blast, and they will come together his elected ones from the extreme ends of the earth and heaven.” Matthew 24:30-31

For the lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud cry of command, with a cry of the seraph and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And those who have left this life in Christ will resurrect first.

Then we that are alive shall at once be gathered up with the resurrected in the heavens, to see the lord and so shall we always dwell with the lord. Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Building The Trust Capacity In Difficult Times

Building The Trust Capacity In Difficult Times

‘Don’t be afraid,’ the prophet answered. ‘Fear not that for they that be with u are more than they that be with them.’” 2 Kings 6:16 (NIV)

One phone call and my life smashed into a pile of dust easily blown away by shock and unbelief. In a moment, my trust in God was tested as never before. Could I trust Him with this?

Trusting God would absolutely be easier if we could see Him and His angel armies face to face. But even though we can’t see the physical realm, we can trust they’re in the spiritual realm — a realm more powerful that anything we could ever imagine. Even while we don’t see God at work, we can be certain He is.

How do we build the trust capacity?

God shows us a powerful glimpse into that spiritual realm in 2 Kings 6:8-18. Ancient Aram (modern-day Syria) was fighting the Israelite’s, and God used His prophet Elisha to predict how the Arameans would attack, to warn the Israelite army.

The Bible explains that this enraged the king of Aram, so he began plotting to attack the city and cut off Elisha from helping Israel.

But God stepped in and protected Elisha and his servant and even changed what they were allowed to see.

I’ve felt like this before. Haven’t you? Difficult circumstances press in from every side. “This is too much for me!” I cry, “I can’t do this anymore. I don’t even want to go out of my house. Where are You, God? You promised you would never leave me or abandon me, but I don’t sense your presence. Why aren’t you doing something? I want out of this story!”

Honest. Raw. Somewhat embarrassing to admit. Sensing the enemies all around, we’re surrounded by problems we cannot solve and people we cannot control.

Elisha’s servant probably felt the same way.

His faith was as flimsy as the tent flaps he stood behind. Elisha’s was as strong as the tent peg anchoring the canvas in place.

“‘Don’t be afraid,’ the prophet answered. ‘he who is with us is more than he who is with them’” (2 Kings 6:16).

Did you catch that? Do not be afraid. God is greater.

How can we do better in trusting God during trying times? By remembering, “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them” (v. 16b). Elisha knew there was more power and strength in the unseen reality of the heavenly host than the seen reality of the enemy’s army.

Elisha didn’t pray for God to send an army, because the warring angels on chariots of fire were already there. Elisha simply prayed his servant would be allowed to see them at work.

I always pictured the angel armies and Arameans on opposite hillsides, looking down and squaring off. But that’s not what the Bible says. In reality, the enemies surrounded Elisha in a circle. At the same time, the warring angels were surrounding the enemies — a circle around a circle.

Friend, God is surrounding whatever difficult situation is surrounding you. Jesus painted this same picture in John 14:20 when He said, “I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you” (NIV).

God most likely won’t pull back the curtain separating the physical realm from the spiritual realm for us to see, but we can be assured: We’re surrounded by a heavenly host of angels, ready to protect us in our deepest struggles.

Lord, open my eyes so I might see what is already there. Open my heart so I might believe what is already there. Strengthen my faith so I might trust that You are surrounding what is surrounding me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

How to Find and Fulfill Your Destiny

What does God require you to do with your life? Are you fulfilling destiny?

If you’re not yet certain about what fortune God has for you, the answer doesn’t have to remain a mystery any longer. By seeking a closer relationship with your Creator, you can determine and fulfill what He has created you to do.

Here’s how to find and fulfill your destiny:

Rethink why it’s significant to start living according to your destiny: Living out your destiny will give you greater fulfillment, concentration, firmness, significance, identity, and provision in your life. Don’t settle for less than the greatest God has for you, which is to discover and fulfill your destiny every day that you live.

Don’t confuse business with purpose: While it’s honorable working for God, ensure that you’re seeking God’s will for your work rather than just hopping into activities that seem to be valuable. Too often, people dedicate their time and energy on activities that are good but don’t reflect God’s purposes for their lives. Decide to seek God’s guidance for your life every day.

Measure what you do according to what God has created you to do. Have a rethink whether or not to pursue some activities on the basis of how they will or won’t help you fulfill your destiny. Keep in mind that your fate is “the modified life calling God has bestowed and fortified you to accomplish in order to bring Him the highest glory and achieve the maximum enlargement of His kingdom.”

View yourself as God sees you: You are being created by God as a masterpiece, and that’s how he sees you. As a masterpiece, you are: exceptional, distinct, valuable, titled, and recognized. Ask the Holy Spirit to prompt you of that every day, to help you live with assurance.

Seek God’s kingdom first in your life: Place your relationship with God at the center of your life and turn everyone and everything else around it. Once you make it your top priority to follow God, you won’t have to fight to find your destiny, because God will reveal it to you in the perspective of your growing relationship with Him. So make God the central focus of your feelings, activities, wants, time, endowments, and treasures, and expect Him to make miracles out of even the messes in your life.

Don’t discriminate between sacred and secular work: Understand that God has called all believers in all professions to improve His realm on Earth through their work. God can use your work in any field to achieve powerful aims that have eternal value. Make a word to God that you will do all of your work – whatever it is – with excellence to serve Him every day. View yourself in the workplace as one of God’s ambassadors.

Trust in God’s authority: Since nothing occurs without God’s consent, he is all-powerful and completely loving; God has a decent purpose for allowing every difficult condition into your life. Whenever you experience something confusing or painful, choose to trust God in the midst of the condition, and ask Him to show you how to respond to it in ways that best fulfill His purposes.

Ask God to unveil your passion and help you attach it with eternity: God has made you with precise yearnings and motivations; paying attention to those will help you realize what you’re passionate about. Question yourself such as: “What is my attraction?” “What makes me feel alive?” “What work can I do?” Once you’ve recognized what you’re passionate about, reflect how your passion connects to eternal values, such as those that the Bible describes. Pray about your passion, asking God to show you how you can follow it in ways that will increase His kingdom on Earth.

Move onward one step at a time: Don’t wait to act on the guidance that God gives you about how to fulfill your destiny. God’s assistance will frequently come gradually, rather than coming in a dramatic image that shows you everything you should do far into the future. Rather than allowing your partial knowledge limit you, respond to God on the basis of what you do know, trusting that God will continue to guide you step by step to embolden you to stay closely connected to Him.

Develop and use your natural talents and spiritual gifts: Ask God to help you recognize the gifts He has given you to use in the world and the gifts He has given you to use in the church. Once you know what these are, target to use them as fully as you can every day, and as you serve you will be accomplishing your destiny in the process.

Make the most of your time: Every day that God offers you on Earth has valuable opportunities for you to achieve your destiny as much as you can. So maximize your time by offering yourself as a living sacrifice for God every day, ready to say “yes” to whatsoever He may call you to do.

Dedicate yourself fully to God: Rather than chasing your own plans, seek God’s will and do your best to follow it in every part of your life, without holding anything back. You can do this best by welcoming the Holy Spirit to renovate your mind daily, enable you to change views that don’t replicate God’s truth with ones that do.

Unite with God as He trains you to depend on Him: Don’t fight God’s efforts to strip you of self-sufficient habits that disprove the healthy reliance God wants you to develop on Him. Have in mind that you can do much more while depending on God than you can ever do on your own. Recognize that your purpose will always be bigger than you, so you must learn how to rely on God to help you fulfill it.

Improve a routine of worship: When you approach every condition in your life with an attitude of worship (honoring God), you will start to identify God at work in your life and place yourself to hear from the Holy Spirit frequently, which will help you accomplish your destiny.

Aim to work for God’s exaltation rather than yours: Keep in mind that the definite purpose of fulfilling your destiny is for God to be glorified on Earth, leading people to seek Him and find redemption and restoration through Him. Check your reasons for your work often. Ask God to root self-centered motives out of your life and keep you concentrated on what matters most for infinity: serving God.
